There’s an overblown and overhyped sporting event this weekend, but this time, it matters a lot to me, because I saw this play as it happened, and I’ve remained a Jints fan through thin and thick. And after some truly appalling losses this season, it’s all pretty exciting.

Tuesday is the first day of a new series of Pop-Up Concerts at Miller Theater; free late afternoon events … with beer! At 6pm, JACK Quartet and Laura Radnofsky of Signal will play Scelsi, Xenakis and Sciarinno. I can’t make it, so let me know how it is.
