Space Christmas

The Doctor Who Christmas show isn’t until tomorrow, but NASA has got something for us all:

And did you know NASA had a radio station? It’s almost self-parody:

NASA’s mission of discovery and exploration will be showcased in a custom-produced Internet music radio station that is crafted specifically to speak the language of tech-savvy young adults.

Third Rock – America’s Space Station is set to launch with a New Rock/Indie/Alternative format on Monday, Dec. 12.

I'm a composer and musician, and I write about music—I do that here, for the New York Classical Review, at the Brooklyn Rail (I edit the music section there) and any place else that will have me, like New Music Box and Music & Literature. I also wrote the Miles Davis' Bitches Brew book in the 33 1/3 series.
